Oceanside Boardriders Club

We are a non-profit dedicated to fostering a thriving surf community in Oceanside.

At the heart of the OBC are two core pillars: community and surf competition. While we prioritize building a strong and inclusive community, we believe that friendly competition can bring our members even closer together, fostering a sense of camaraderie and teamwork.

Community First

The Oceanside Boardriders Club is an open platform for anyone who cares about Oceanside and its surf culture. We believe that our members are the heart and soul of the club, and we rely on your voices and ideas to shape our direction and initiatives. By empowering our members, we can collectively support and strengthen the Oceanside surf community.

Surf Competition

The West Coast Board Riders (WCBR) organizes a series of surf competitions that provide a platform for the OBC and other clubs to showcase their skills and compete in a friendly environment. We're proud to sponsor our OBC team, covering their fees to participate in these events. It's just one way we support our members and their passion for surfing.

Leadership and Vision

The OBC is guided by a dedicated Board of Directors comprised of 11 individuals deeply rooted in the Oceanside community. These passionate surfers and community leaders were elected to ensure that the club remains focused on its mission to support and uplift the Oceanside surf scene.
